about

Any band that spends much time playing live will tell you that certain venues truly become a second home. For us, Davey's Uptown Rambler's Club in KCMO is near the top of that list. They've allowed our weird little band to grace their stage on multiple occasions, and they have always treated us like pros. Case in point: how often have you heard of a dive bar where the sound engineer was able to offer you a professional-grade recording of the set you just played? We've heard of exactly one*.

We weren't sure if we were ever going to use these recordings for anything. Then March of 2020 happened. Not only have we been stuck inside with way too much free time thanks to Covid-19, but on March 14th, Davey's suffered a devastating fire that has shuttered its doors (temporarily, we've been assured).

We're a couple of broke-ass musicians who hate feeling powerless, and so we thought we'd try to help everyone out as best we can. For our stir-crazy fans trapped in quarantine, here's a little faux escape from the house. Crank your stereo, maybe spill a PBR on the floor for ambiance, and presto! Instant punk show! And for the good folks at Davey's who are doubly screwed right now, may we direct you to their relief fund:

This album is and will always be free to download**. All we ask is that you help support the venue that made it possible. We love you Davey's, and we hope to see you back in action soon!

*We're sure others exist, but not in our little corner of the Universe.

**it's set to "name your price", but please feel free to pay $0 unless you specifically want it added to your Bandcamp collection.
